Where do I park and is parking free?

Parking is available in the parking lot next to the MPAC which is shared with Fouts Field Stadium. This lot can be accessed from North Texas Blvd., the I-35E northbound access road, or Bonnie Brae St. Event parking in this lot is free.

When is the box office open?

The box office is open on Mondays through Fridays from 1:00pm to 5:00pm and one hour prior to the start time of all ticketed performances. The box office is closed during breaks between semesters.

Where is the box office located?

The box office is in the lobby of the MPAC under the grand staircase.

Can I purchase tickets over the phone?

Yes, tickets can be purchased over the phone with a valid credit card on Monday-Friday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

Can I buy tickets online?

Yes, tickets are available online at the following link: Purchase Tickets . UNT students can currently only acquire their free student ticket by visiting the box office in person.

Can I reserve tickets without paying?

No, the MPAC does not make unpaid reservations.

Is there a discount ticket price for students, seniors or children?

Yes, for most performances there is a discount price for seniors, non-UNT students, UNT faculty and staff, and children. UNT students and College of Music Faculty get a free or discounted ticket to most performances.

What should I wear to the MPAC?

There is no specific dress code for performances at the MPAC. Patrons wear everything from comfortable clothing to business casual.

When should I arrive?

It is best to plan to arrive early. The box office opens one hour before ticketed events. The doors to the performance hall open half an hour before most events.

What happens if I arrive late to the performance?

At most performances, there is an allotted time for seating patrons who arrive late but this is not a guarantee. There are no seating opportunities while the ensemble or soloist is performing but seating often happens between pieces. If you arrive late, the ushers in the lobby will be able to provide information about the next opportunity for seating.

What if I am unable to attend the performance but I already purchased my ticket?

The MPAC does not make any refunds or exchanges. To speak to a box office staff member call 940-369-7802.

Is there food available in the MPAC? Can I bring my own food into the performance hall?

No, the MPAC does not have any food vendors or vending machines. Food and beverage is not allowed in the performance hall.

Are the seats reserved or can I sit where I want?

It depends on the performance. Most performances at the MPAC are general admission which means that you can sit in any open section of the performance hall. Some performances are reserved seating, which means you will have an assigned seat.

Is there a lost and found?

Yes, all lost and found items are kept in the MPAC box office until the end of the semester when they are taken to the UNT central lost and found in the University Union. The box office also keeps a record of lost items and contact information for patrons who have lost something that is not already in the lost and found.

Can I rent the MPAC?

Yes, the MPAC can be rented for meetings, conferences, weddings, and other events. For more information on rates and policies click here.

What happens if a performance is sold out?

When a performance is sold out, the MPAC typically has a standby line in the lobby the night of performance. The standby line is a first come, first served opportunity to purchase tickets that become available. It is not a guarantee of receiving a ticket.
