Rental Rates and Policies

There are 3 main categories of fees involved with renting the Murchison Performing Arts Center: Base Rental Fees, Personnel & Services Fees, and Security Deposit. To receive an estimate of the cost for your particular event, please contact the MPAC's Event Coordinator.

Personnel and Service Fees:
Personnel and Services Fees vary and are based on specific needs for each contracted event. A typical range of cost for Personnel & Services on a one-day event is $800-$2000.

Security Deposit:
Each contract will also require a $250 security deposit, subject to refund after event. Security Deposit is due with Date Hold Application in order to reserve a date on the MPAC calendar.

Payment Information:
All payments must be made via check. The security deposit is due with the date hold application. Base rental fees are due in full at time of contract signing. Personnel service fees are due 60 days prior to event for contracted events March-May, and 30 days prior to events for all other dates.

Cancellation Policy:
March-May dates -- One hundred twenty (120) or more days prior to event date, a 75% refund of the Base Rental Fees will be issued, less a $100 administrative fee. Within one hundred and twenty (120) days of the event date no refunds will be issued.
All other dates -- One hundred twenty (120) or more days prior to event date a full refund will be issued, less a $100 administrative fee. Ninety (90) to one hundred twenty (120) days prior to even date a 50% refund of the Base Rental Fees will be issued. Sixty (60) to ninety (90) days prior to the event date a 25% refund of the Base Rental Fees will be issued. Within sixty (60) days of the event date no refunds will be issued.

Insurance Requirements:
Licensees shall be required to have commercial general liability coverage with a combined limit for bodily injury and property damage of $1,000,000 per occurrence or its equivalent, which covers the Event and all activities of License on the Premises. Licensor, its officers, employees and elected representatives shall be named as additional insured as to all applicable coverage.
